Product 2: cavalcade to palena lake.

 

 

 

Day 1: ARRIVAL TO ALTO PALENA

We will arrive at the time of lunch and we will enjoy a typical food of the zone, soon we will do town tour starting in the cross hill, soon the virgin hill, where we will be able to see the newspaper live on a cordillerano town, also we will visit the Club of Round up and its middle moon, the Municipal Market and our Patagonian Museum. to return soon to our place of lodging to have dinner and to rest.

 

 

 

 

Day 2: PALENA —EL AZUL

 

area Distance: 20 Km.

 

Dificulty degree: Medium

 

We will start off with a patagónian breakfast then we will make a route in vehicle until km 7, where we will initiate a cavalcade of 2 hrs towards the sector “el azul”, Will rest to borders of the Tigre river and will have a light lunch. Soon we will return to the sector “el azul” where Don Arthur Casanova will wait for us with a rich typical dinner of the Patagonia prepared by its wife Mrs Cremilda and we will enjoy its Lodging, Corner of Snows.

 

 

 

Day 3: EL AZUL —PALENA LAKE

We will have breakfast, soon we will start off with a cavalcade that will follow the course of the Blue river during three hours to have lunch in the spent the summer “Videla” and have a deserved rest since that passage is only of ascent, surrounded of imposing mountains. Soon we will begin with the stage to cross the mountain an altitude range of 1,300 MSNM. To about thousand meters of the route we entered to the “National Reserve Palena Lake” After two hours ridding by a noticeable good footpath we will arrive at the Portezuelo “Videla” where we will marvel ourselves at the first appearance of the Palena Lake After a rest we will initiate the descent towards a protected place where we will spend the night and as ceiling the stars.

 

 

 

Day 4: PORTEZUELO VIDELA – PUNTA LOPEZ

We will start off having breakfast to continue soon with the cavalcade, between lengas and coihues. Arriving at “punta Lopez” we will put up camping, have lunch, we will rest and be able to enjoy the border fishing or to cross beautiful beaches of the Palena Lake.

 

 

 

 

 

Day 5: PUNTA LOPEZ – LAGO TEMPANO – VERANADA CASANOVA

Today we will undertake the return being useful to visit the Lake Iceberg, dazzling us with its millenarian ice and beauty. We will have lunch in the borders of this Lake to go towards soon to the “verdana Casanova”, where we will be with another guide who will wait for us with a roast and salads, all fresh. We will close the day and spend the night in this place.

 

 

 

 

Day 6: VERANADA CASANOVA – EL AZUL

After having breakfast we will return to ride, directing towards the “rincón de las nieves”, following the course of the Azul River and at the end of the slope we will eat a lunch snack. At dusk we will arrive to Arthur Casanova’s place, where we will have dinner and lodge comfortably.

 

 

 

 

 

Day 7: EL AZUL - CALIFORNIA - PALENA

In the last day and after the breakfast we undertake the last stage, after the first hour of cavalcade we will go into the imposing mountain range that will take us to the entrance of the Californian Valley from where we will contemplate for last time the Valley “el azul” to see imposing cañadón that it forms the tigre river, passing a part of the Californian valley, we will arrive at the the toro bridge, end of our adventure. Then, a driver is waiting on a vehicle to transfer us to the town of high Palena Where we will have dinner and sleep.
