Day 1: arrival to high PALENA from ARGENTINA and fishing in tigre river

Desde Chaitén, nos trasladaremos a Puerto Cárdenas a orillas del Lago Yelcho, uno de los mejores lugares de la Región de Los Lagos. Nuestra primera parada la realizaremos en el lugar donde pasaremos el resto del día pescando tanto en el Lago como en el Río Yelcho y alojaremos en dicho sector.

 

 

 

 

DÍA 2: PESCA CON MOSCA EN EL SECTOR PTO. RAMÍREZ

Iniciamos el día pescando en el mejor lugar seleccionado del día anterior y al medio día nos dirigiremos a Puerto Ramírez, otro lugar privilegiado para pescar, donde tenemos variadas para alojar y almorzar. Después de un merecido descanso, retomaremos la pesca en la tarde ya sea en el Río Futaleufú, o desagüe de éste; nacimiento del Lago Yelcho.

 

 

 

DIA 3: PESCA EN EL SECTOR EL DIABLO

Muy temprano nos dirigiremos a las Lagunas del sector El Diablo, después de un recorrido en vehículo de 1 hora y 30 minutos. Allí podremos visitar la laguna Las Golondrinas y Lago Negro, lugar donde almorzaremos y descansaremos para luego, cabalgando, dirigirnos al sector Cordón Blanco cercano al Río Palena, donde cenaremos y alojaremos.

 

 

 

 

DIA 4: PESCA EN EL RIO PALENA

Nos levantaremos temprano y nos dirigiremos al río Palena para tomar las balsas y pescar embarcados hasta el medio día. En la tarde armaremos campamento y nos prepararemos para pescar de orilla al atardecer. En la noche tendremos un asado a la luz de una fogata.

 

 

 

 

 

 

DÍA 5: RETORNO

Nos levantamos y proseguimos la bajada del río Palena, pescando hasta el sector de Villa Vanguardia, en este sector almorzaremos y posteriormente nos dirigiremos en los vehículos que nos esperan para trasladarnos a Chaitén.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

ALTERNATIVE 2: TO ARRIVE OF CHAITÉN

 

 ARRIVE DIRECTLY TO ALTO PALENA

Salmones: Rey (Chinook), Salar (Atlántico), Coho (Silver).

 

Duration: 5 days and 4 nights

Day 1: arrival to high PALENA from ARGENTINA and fishing in tigre river

Arrival to high Palena and to head us to the lodging place, after the lunch we will go to the sector of California to have a calm afternoon of fishing in the cordillerano Tigre River, where we will be able to catch exclusively stream trouts (brooks). We will have dinner and lodge in the locality of high Palena.

 

 

 

 

Day 2: fly fisshing in palena river

The second day we will fish in edge or in the border sector of the Palena river, together with Encuentro River. We will eat for lunch a roast in the alternatives that the town presents/displays to us. In afternoon we will go to Port Ramirez, where we will lodge and fish in the Futaleufú River from the Macal sector to Stone port. Like alternative, for the lovers of small lagoons, we can fish in 3 lagoons that own the locality of high Palena and the sector the Devil.

 

 

 

 

Day 3: Fly fishing in Yelcho lake

All day fishing in Yelcho Lake. We would have lunch in lake borders, to return fishing towards the Stone port sector mainly in the pajonales of the the Cabin sector.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Day 4: fishing in futaleufú’s arms

In our fourth day we will go to the different arms of the Futaleufú river, Pto Ramirez – stone port sector, to fish throughout the day with a lunch box at midday. At night we will enjoy a goodbye rich dinner consisting of Patagonian lamb, accompanied by an exquisite Chilean wine glass.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Day 5: return trip

The return trip by via Argentina or from high Palena by air.
